New page

=André Torkveen=
I have been working on structured information models since the late ‘90s, and on Topic Maps (first in 2003) and later/nowadays on RDF-based systems.

I work as a hired consultant and specialize on information management. My current client is Bane NOR (Infrastructure Manager for Norwegian Railways) where we are establishing a Digital Information Model (DIM) for the national railways sector. My previous client was the Norwegian Mapping Authority, where we did the skeleton for a geospatial digital twin (https://medium.com/@quiet_listening/practical-experiences-with-digital-twin-b3a7719f40af). Most of my work involve asset-intensive businesses.

Of my many previous engagements I’d like to mention working for the POSC Caesar Association (PCA; ISO 15926) as well as a significant number of well-known Owner/Operators (O/Os) and Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) vendors within upstream energy sectors; both the utilities and petroleum branches.
