I am a geospatial scientist and archaeologist. Between 2006 and 2013 I was a researcher in the School of Computing at the University of Leeds, UK. I initially worked on data integration approaches in the utility sector (including semantic approaches), working under, amongst others, Prof Tony Cohn and Dr Brandon Bennett. I then co-ordinated and managed a four year research project on archaeological remote sensing. Beyond my geospatial and archaeological research I have an interest in Controlled Natural Language ontology representation as a means of making semantic approaches more accessible to domain experts. I have applied rabbit, ace/ape and cognitum CNL approaches to geospatial, utility and licencing problems. I currently run my own consultancy.
