Willam McCarthy. Christian has been working with ontologies ever since he completed his education as a master of science in engineering in 1988.<br /> <br /> Christian has investigated possible extensions to the REA ontology, including the addition of the concepts of possession, ownership and availability with the purpose of allowing a direct mapping between the REA ontology and &quot;traditional&quot; double entry accounting.
