I also like to spend a bit of my leisure time developing software, typically running a slow paced and long term home project in the background. I am planning to start my next home project with the view of experimenting and learning something about knowledge representation as I go along. I am new to this very wide subject, pretty much at the beginning of my learning curve, and still need to decide which direction to take. One idea that I may initially experiment with is whether something equivalent to coding standards may be usefully applied to ontologies.</div>
