I’m a member of the faculty at the University of Birmingham (UK). I do data science, ethnography with community groups and the philosophy of technology -all of which impinge on metadata and ontology more broadly. I also work with the intermapping forum on geospatial data, primarily on generating new data sets, so I have a strong interest in linked open data and some of the more recent stuff that has opened up on that front.
