John Beverley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the State University of New York at Buffalo (since 2022), and an Ontologist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (since 2021). John earned a PhD from Northwestern University in 2021.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
John works at the intersection of formal logic and applied ontology development. Sample work includes development of the Virus Infectious Disease Ontology and Arguments Ontology, refactoring of the Infectious Disease Ontology, and contributions to the Coronavirus Infectious Disease Ontology. &lt;br /&gt;
