New page

=Justin Price=
I am a recent PhD graduate in Philosophy from the University of South Carolina where I researched the Philosophy of Science and the role of mathematical models in scientific inquiry. A growing side interest of mine is Ethics of Technology; I taught several courses on this subject. I am currently exploring a career change from academics to ontology and knowledge engineering while I teach.

Part of this career change is motivated by my interest in technology, broadly, and, more specifically, problems to do with making domains of human activity machine ‘readable’. I also just like working on more concrete engineering problems. I have a background in computer science, know Python, C++, JS, and have dabbled in the tools of the knowledge engineering trade with Protégé and SPARQL. I am currently looking for volunteer or internship opportunities to get more hands-on experience.
