I have over 30 years of experience in and around aerospace engineering data management and processes. Much of that has involved document processing using SGML, XML, and related technologies. More recently I have worked on product lifecycle management (PLM) projects in various roles, particularly in the areas of data modeling and data conversion.

I helped design and implement an access control system for export control and intellectual property protection of engineering resources using XACML. I participated in the OASIS technical committee on XACML (eXtensible Access Control Markup Language) from 2009-2012, helping finalize version 3.0 of the specification.

I have an abiding interest in seeing enterprise information done right, and I believe semantic technologies can help with that.
