** Dr. Fox is a Distinguished Professor of Urban Systems Engineering, and Professor of Industrial Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Toronto.   He is the Director of the Urban Data Centre which is part of the University of Toronto's School of Cities. Dr. Fox is a Fellow of Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and the Engineering Institute of Canada. He received his BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 1975 and his PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from Carnegie Mellon University in 1983.

[12:12] RaviSharma: Prof Fox, are you able to interoperate with Digital twins solutions or ecosystems?

[12:18] RaviSharma: Dr Fox - Vocabularies for shared information from citywide emergencies or only about Public Health Engineering?

[12:24] RaviSharma: Thanks for referring to Doug Lenat's presentation, he is likely to speak again to expand on his talk and answer Qs,

[12:27] RaviSharma: I wish Azamat was here to see that ontology was adequately discussed! We will have recording available for all.

[12:30] RaviSharma: Can you make the logic such that it goes deep to the usable level? i.e. as deep as city public health dept can handle? selectable depth?

[12:35] RaviSharma: Why are microtheories not being used?

[12:36] RaviSharma: Can funding authority's budgets and city council's be used to adopt the city standard? UN World Bank, etc?

[12:38] MichaelGruninger: One obstacle to ontology-based standards is the Absurdity of the Obvious. First, people don't think there need to be standards because from their perspective, the semantics of terms is obvious. But then, when they talk with other groups, discover that not only do they disagree with their semantics, but consider absurd what others think is obvious.

[12:40] RaviSharma: Yes, Michael, miscommunication is at the root of what you are describing, also common interests, etc.

[12:44] RaviSharma: How do you show the external agencies, regions and federal government the advantages of collaboration?

[12:47] ToddSchneider: 'Resident' should likely be represented as a 'Role'. Residency is not a permanent condition.

[12:49] ToddSchneider: How is 'Manifestation' defined?

[12:59] RaviSharma: Correlation - how is it handled like floods and cholera water quality?

[13:03] ToddSchneider: 'Changes' can be enforced if the enforcer has control of the money.
