Mr. Charles (Rod) Cowan is a Senior Member of the Executive Staff at the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). He is responsible for advice and assistance to the DTRA Chemical and Biological Technologies division in knowledge management and information technology. In this role he provides expertise, recommendations and direction on an overall knowledge management strategy, process models, business rules, architecture, applications, and a roadmap for the program. Before joining CSC, Mr. Cowan worked for the IBM Corporation in knowledge management, business transformation strategy, software strategy and application strategy. He also held various positions in management, design, development and testing in operating system, and complier development. He holds a patent in knowledge management methodology and has two knowledge management technology patents under evaluation by the patent office. He has a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Rochester, and an MS in electrical engineering and computer science from Columbia.
