I am a Research Associate at University of Pennsylvania. I started to work on ontology in 2009. With the background in both biology and computer sciences, I am focusing on ontology development and application in biological and clinical fields. Currently I am involving development of ontology, including Ontology for Biomedical Investigations (OBI), Information Artifact Ontology (IAO), Ontology for Biological and Clinical Statistics (OBCS), etc. Besides, I am working on the projects to apply the ontology to bioinformatics web services to facilitate web services composition, standardize metadata of biological data collection, and clinical data integration cross various resources.
