I am an old-school, theoretical, ‘Strong AI’ (GOFAI) researcher.
My specific areas are - Commonsense Knowledge, Commonsense Reasoning, Semantics, Cognitive Psychology.
I am a 10-year-long mentee of the late Prof. Marvin Minsky of MIT.
I have pursued my AI research independently, by associating with some of the very best pioneers in the field - some of which are - Prof. Marvin Minsky, Dr. Pat Hayes, Dr. Richard Waldinger, Dr. Jim Spohrer, Prof. Noam Chomsky, Dr. Cyrus Nourani.
I have delivered invited talks at - the Stanford Research Institute International, the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, and Microsoft Research.
