Simon Polovina

Dr Simon Polovina is interested in bringing Computer Productivity to Business Creativity by connecting Enterprise Architecture with Conceptual Structures, which harmonise computer productivity with human and business creativity. Conceptual Structures arise from Conceptual Graphs, Formal Concept Analysis, Knowledge Graphs, and Business Data Graphs. Ontology is the heart of Conceptual Structures, from its theoretical basis to its industrial applications.

Simon’s expertise is not limited to a single field. His experience extends to a wide range of areas, including Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Ontology, Intelligent Enterprises, Design Thinking, Data Infrastructures, and Service-oriented Architecture (SOA). This comprehensive knowledge is reflected in his extensive publication record, with over 110 learned publications to date.

Simon is a chair of the Measuring Ontologies for Value Enhancement (MOVE) community and its latest workshop. The first workshop led to the publication:
