I'm working as a product manager in the financial industry for a software company (Regnology) providing banks and insurance companies with software solutions for regulatory reporting and tax.
The software offers an XML interface to import country-specific data for reporting purposes, but as the interface grows with each added country, maintainability and reusability become more difficult, leading to the exploration of using data point model (DPM) members definitions to address this issue.
