Tom Folkes

Tom has been a DARPA researcher (robotics and graph interface), webmaster at both NASA and Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIH). He wrote the first set of requirements for NASA's webpages and the National Facilities System. Part of his responsibilities at NASA was to brief the CIO on the best way to leverage the web.

He has been developing Alexlib.info for about 20 years. It is an AI librarian which learns ontologies. It has a non Boolean advanced search methodology. This search method is weighted context. It solves the "Needle in the Needle Stack" problem as well as the "Synonym" problem. It creates ontologies globally and was well as personally. This system is capable of searching N data sources by M nomenclatures.
