Utkarshani Jaimini

Utkarshani Jaimini is a Ph.D. student at the Artificial Intelligence Institute, University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, USA. Her research focuses on developing a richer representation of causality using ontology and knowledge graphs for better explainability using interventional and counterfactual reasoning with applications in autonomous driving and healthcare. In the past, she has worked with pediatric asthma patients to develop personalized augmented healthcare models to understand the causes of asthma symptoms and better predict and prevent future exacerbations.
