Fahad Khan
Anas Fahad Khan is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale <<A. Zampolli>> in Pisa, Italy. He has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow, and a PhD also in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham. His research interests include the use of formal ontologies in computational linguistics and in the humanities. In particular he is interested in the different ways in which ontological information can be used to enrich computational lexica and in the use of ontologies as tagsets for annotating texts. He also works in the area of linguistic linked open data and on standardisation initiatives for language resources.
