Dr. Barret is a postdoctoral researcher at Politecnico di Milano in the DEIB department (Italy). Her interest lies in heterogeneous data integration and semantics for heterogeneous data. This includes researches with various Web data formats (relational dumps, XML documents, JSON documents, RDF graphs, property graphs) and leverages various domain-specific vocabularies and ontologies. They are used to add more semantics in data warehouses and data lakes, seeking for more interoperability between datasets and systems. She is also the member of several PCs (including DBKDA 2025, ADBIS 2025 and the workshop iSAILS 2025) and has been a reviewer for more than 10 venues. ​ See also: https://nelly-barret.github.io/
