Øyvind Liland Gjesdal

Øyvind has worked at the University of Bergen Library as a programmer since 2012, sometimes using ontological technologies like Protégé and semantic web tools like Apache Jena. He has worked with implementing applications on top of ontologies for different domains, e.g. Terminology (SKOS and extended ontologies)[1], Special Collections (CIDOC-CRM, home-made)[2] and Philosophy (Ludwig Wittgenstein)[3].
