Samuel Steakley

Since 2020, Samuel has worked in public health informatics at the Houston Health Department, where he has been assigned to projects in electronic messaging and systems integration. He graduated from Williams College with a BA in physics in 2017.

Samuel is eager to learn from the experience of others in the development of ontological and semantic technology. He also hopes to gain insights which will serve for studying such problems from the perspective of mathematical database theory. In particular, the difficulties of implementing interoperability with standard technologies have drawn his attention to two key operational needs: data integration and schema evolution.
