Tabbasum Naz

Dr. Tabbasum Naz joined Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria for PhD in 2005. She completed her PhD in 2009 and her area of research is Semantic Web.

She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University College Cork, Cork, Ireland in 2009 and 2014. She has served as Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore, Pakistan from 2010 to 2014.

She joined the CS & IT department of The University of Lahore, Pakistan in 2015 as Associate Professor. She has worked as a research associate at Knowledge Media Institute, The Open University, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom on Up2U European Union’s Horizon 2020 Project in 2018.

Currently, Dr. Naz is working as Research Fellow at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Her research interests are Information Extraction and integration, Ontology Engineering, Semantic Web and Search Engines.
